The trays also feature raised ribbing under the base for good air-flow. Plant your seeds or plant cuttings directly into these herb pots or trays used by wholesale and retail plant nurseries all over the country.
Great for germinating seed, raising and growing seedlings as well as carrying your propagation Tubes and Pots.
The 100mm Square Squat Punnet-Pot Black is made from recycled and virgin material which gives it the perfect balance. They are made to be strong and long lasting but also it means that you are doing your bit to look after the environment. They fit 12 to a tray snugly (as pictured).
Our pots no longer need to be put into land fill, they are 100% RECYCLABLE to be converted back into useable products countless times over.

While many common herbs don’t require support, several herbs grow better, stay tidier, or produce cleaner foliage when supported by a small stake. The stakes included are only a 40cm stake, and some herbs may eventually require a taller one, but these an adequate place to start.
Herbs That Commonly Benefit from Staking
Basil (especially larger varieties)
- Large-leaf basil can become top-heavy.
- Stakes help prevent stems snapping in wind.
- Keeps foliage off wet soil and improves airflow.
Dill
- One of the most common herbs to stake.
- Can grow 60–120 cm tall.
- Feathery foliage catches the wind easily.
- Flower heads become heavy when seed forms.
Fennel
- Herb fennel can grow well over 1 metre.
- Tall stems can flop, especially in pots.
- Benefits from a bamboo stake.
Lemon Verbena
- Can become lanky and top-heavy.
- Young plants often benefit from support until stems harden.
Bay Laurel
- Young bay plants are often tied to a stake to encourage a straight trunk.
- Common practice in nurseries.
Rosemary (upright varieties)
- Usually doesn’t need staking.
- Young plants or standards (tree-form rosemary) often benefit from support.
Tarragon
- Can become floppy later in the season.
- A small support helps keep stems upright.
