Coir block Regular Potting Blend 50/50 4.5 kg POWER

For use as planting media / substrate. Can be mixed with Potting mix to increase Air-Fill Porosity in the mix - promoting better plant growth. Coir has many tiny 'caves' and pores which hold onto water and nutrition so it isn't flushed through the mix so quickly. Power is a combination of fine pith with chip. It can be used as an additive to a potting mix or plants can be planted directly into it. This has become a very popular mix in Australia as we have cold wet winters and the extreme heat of our summers. Simply add 25 litres of water to a wheelbarrow and soak the block to expand. GIVE IT A TRY!

Coir block Regular Potting Blend – Potting Blend 50/50 Coir Peat/Husk Chips

 

Power is produced from a 50/50 mix of both the Coir Husk and fine pith, giving you the benefits of additional air and water holding capacity. Power is ideal for sensitive crops which require good aeration, perfect for roses and vegetable crops. Power is used heavily in both the ornamental horticultural market and in the commercial vegetable market.

All of our Coir products are produced from sustainable and renewable resources. The well planned cultivation and maintenance of Sri Lanka’s coconut plantations ensures the future sustainability of the Coir products.

 

Hydration

Coir will need approximately 8 litres of water per kilogram of coir to fully hydrate. It is this process that expands the compressed coir up to its potential. After that point, the coir should remain expanded then for the life of the plant growing. Weight – between 4 and 5 kg. Compressed coir block – Expands and fluffs up to approximately 60 litres

PRECISION (Coconut Pith Fines for seedlings), POWER (50% Coconut Husk Chip & 50% Coconut Pith fines)  & HUSK CHIP (very large Chip size)

Tracking

In most cases, a tracking number will be provided to you (except when stated on the product) so that you can track the status of your delivery, or query a delivery status directly with the shipping company in the rare case of delayed or lost parcels. This tracking number will usually be sent to you via email. If an incorrect email address is provided to us by you, this tracking number may not be received by you.
