🪴 How to Use – Recommended Method

Soak the mix overnight to fully rehydrate the bark and flush any fines created during transit.

Place a thin layer of Kiwi Orchid Bark Potting Blend in the bottom of the pot.

Position the plant centrally, ensuring the roots sit below the rim.

Gently fill around the roots with the bark blend, tapping lightly to settle—do not compact.

Water thoroughly after potting.

Apply a quality fertiliser at recommended rates for ongoing nutrition.
🌏 Taranaki Bark – Product of New Zealand
No rinsing required apart from flushing a small amount of fines that may have been created during freight handling. Aged (composted) Pinus radiata bark can break down quickly and shift in pH, creating an unstable root environment and increasing the need for frequent repotting. Our non-aged bark remains stable for much longer, helping maintain consistent growing conditions so your plants can thrive.
