ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
The Coir Pot Topper is made using coconut husk fibres and bound with biodegradable natural latex forming a thick but lightweight matting. Coir Weedmat restricts the growth of weeds allowing the plant time to establish. The mat also protects the integrity of soil moisture by slowing evaporation. It is a natural, light brown colour (as pictured) and tends to blend in perfectly into the natural landscape. You have the choice of leaving the mat exposed or alternatively covering it with decorative bark or mulch.
Coir Weedmat is an environmentally friendly product that is completely biodegradable and will eventually break down. Usage has shown that the mat will hold its shape and structure for at least 18 months, however, this will vary depending on environmental conditions. BONUS: As the mat breaks down it enriches the soil with organic material.
